Eragon or Eldest?

Which one do you like better: Eragon or Eldest? I think I'd have to say Eldest, but it's really close.

I think Eragon is better for one reason and that is it has more in it. In Eragon there is lots of traveling which i am not as keen on. Also in Eldest there is more of the storyline and Eragon learns more and we the readers learn more about him as a person and the life he leads along with all his hard ships.

It would appear so. Why do you like Eragon better?

Well...I guess it's for a few reasons:

1. Eragon was where we were introduced to Alagasia, Eragon, Saphira, and most everything else in the first place!
   
2. Eldest contains to much Roran. Not that I don't like him...I just wasn't really interested in what was going on back in Palancar Valley.
   
3. I can't think of any more...besides the fact that Eldest was sort of a let-down for me (although that's not saying much since anything would have been a let-down. I had way too high expectations for Eldest
   

That's it. It was close though...I loved both!

With eragon, he at least had to try to kill people. Twelve killing words... Blah! Before you can say: Hey, wassup? Your dead. not cool.

lol apollo, and I voted for Eldest. I love them both, but with each book, Paolini just gets better! Have any of you read the synopsis of Brisingr? This one sounds like Paolini's magnum opus here!

I did read it...and are you saying that this is CP's magnum opus, while yours is about how Shruiken is a girl?

I don't know...I just thought that the comparison was funny (you know, Brisingr vs. Shruiken being a girl). Not that I disregard your magnum opus...I just thought that CP's will probably be a bit...longer than yours!

Dudes, Magnum Opus? Use simpler words...like corpulent...and inocous...I still like eragon best...so far.

pssh clearly! Mine is going to be maybe 25 pages. There are different standards for magnum opuses for each person. Mine will just receive a little fan fic praise. His will get awards, and will recruit millions more of fans! big difference there. And apollo, don't act as if our gargantuan words create such a quagmire for imbasols such as yourself. I'm know nfor big words at school. Trust me, if my friends can't get me to stop big words, no one can!

i thought eldest was a little better then eragon and i suspect brisingr will be a little better then both of the others
