A new Shade?

Do you think that there will be a new Shade? I really don't think that Durza was the only one. What if Murtagh or someone else became one?

I really doubt that there will be another shade seen as there is very little chance of one being made it is a big mistake from a magic user to do that and i doubt there will be another one.

Murtagh and Arya won't become shades because to become shades they would have to summon spirits stronger than themselves and since they both use energy instead of spirits, this would be impossible. the only candidate I know of would be maybe Angela

Yeah, i'm not saying there will be another shade, I'm just saying that she is the most likely person we know to become one. She doesn't seem like it though because she said in Eragon "Shades are vile creatures. They practice the most unholy magic, next to necromancy..." (Don't say that is not wha she said because I know it isn't exact. It is just from memory )

Well what if it was the menace that laughs? Or Trianna? As of yet, she is the only person in the series (besides Durza) that definetly uses magic. Near the begining of Eldest she says somthing like this when she meets Eragon: "You are so powerfull. I sure you you could teach everyone in the The Wandering Path (I forgot how to spell the AL name) lots. And maybe I could teach you how to controll spirits." I think it may be her....

Well, if you were forced to try to predict the next shade, who would you guess?

What if... Arya becomes Queen, and the forest is threatened? Maybe she would be desperate in such a situation or something else and become a shade. What if it was during the final battle (probably near Urubain) and it was going poorly for the Varden? Just a thought. That would be amazing in my opinion if someone that important suddenly turned at a critical point.

Well, though that would be really cool, you must remember this: once a person becomse a Shade, they can no longer controll their body. They essintially die, with the evil spirits controlling the dead body. Kinda like Inferi, except cooler. So if Arya did that, she would become evil. But then Eragon couldn't marry her! haha!

OI ZEB! lol. Arya wont be a shade but think about this, How about Oromis! just think about it. He is week and one day he summons a spirit too strong.

No!!! He doesn't use spirit's for magic! He's a Dragon Rider! They get magic from their Dragon, so they couldn't really become a Shade.

Well, as mentioned/implied at the end of Eragon, the true self of shades are still down there, just really, really deep.

I like the Trianna theory...I think that she has a much bigger role to play. I can see a lot of interesting roads for her character to take.

No no people! I think it will be a whole new character. If you've watched any of CP's videos, you'd know he has created quite a few new characters! (Note: he says he has about 15 pages worth of characters)

It would be awesome! Shades have good hairdos. I wish my eyes were red! Yeah, Trianna might.She kinda creeps me out. Delta, REALLY DEEP!
