Thats ture too. Think about it if its a rock one of the frist things that come to mind are the darwfs cause they LOVE rocks and there are TONS of rocks in in the beor montains. What if thats what the stone forest is the vault of souls.

yeah but if it was a famous dwarven thing, eragon would have been told about it so it might be something that not many dwarfs know about

Maybe only the 13 darwf lords know of it and eragon is not a darwf lord.

that wouldnt work because those are evrchanging and the secret would have to be spread if it was being told to new people (even lords) someone would overhear

Not if they swore they wouldn't in the AL.

but there are still ways to hear what happens in private meetings, especially in rooms of rosk (which amplifies sound)
and the dwarfs dont know the al

They do to know the AL and they could cast a sound protection spell.

Do dwarves even have mages? because in the battle of tronjhiem (sp?) in book 1 they were dependent on the vardens mages

i dont think it said that. the time it might of said was when he was taught there mythology in eldest but i cant check because i dont own eldest

it could i suppose but i believe thats its somewhere hidden in the spine.............i think theres alot more to the spine we dont know about yet
