I think I have deduced that Roran will be the next dragon rider..

Not mainly because he is Eragon's cousin but more of what Paolini had said at the end of his Brisingr audiobook.. and I quote " i like to think of the inheritance cycle as a tale of three half-brothers if you will. Eragon Roran and Murtagh."

I think that there are 3 eggs for a reason, those three Eragon Murtagh and Roran.

I mean think about it. Why would Paolini spend the time writing in " Stone rise" all the time if it didn't lead somewhere, facts are put into books for reasons.

Not to mention I think he will be the one left on the shore when Eragon leaves. Cause I think Katrina will be killed by Birget. and his dragon will leave with Saphira...

It makes sense you know.

I seriously doubt it. I beleive that Roran will become king. As stated in Eldest, no one wants a king that could live forever. If Roran was a Rider, he could live forever.

Interesting theory though.

i'm not sure. i'm leaning more towards Roran not being the next dragon rider. i just find it weird imagining Roran as a Rider.

Well...why do you think arya works? why not nasuada, roran, or elva? If you need any evidence, look in brisingr and arya evidence.

well i agree that arya is a candidate.. i mean if not roran her...

but again you dont put things in books that aren't relevant.. and roran saying stone rise.. through-out the book has to have some relevance

i don't know. i guess Roran could be a candidate considering in Brisingr, Eragon was trying to see if Roran could use magic, but i still think the #1 candidate is Arya.

Um... well how about we debate on who Eragon will marry? I'm supporting the Nasuada side, and you can support whomever you want. Or you can debate for the "he won't marry" theory if you want.
