Brom's seven words

wow, its been a while since ive been on here, a long, long while. Yesterday i was wondering, remember in the first book at brom's death when he whispered seven words to Eragon? They would obviously be significant later on, any ideas on what they could be? And another thing, whats with the 7's? i mean, eragon's SEVEN promises, broms SEVEN words. Might just be nothing, but hey, you never know.

I once had a name tomthechao(a.k.a. me) lol, but you never saw it It seems there's a lot of 7 seen in lotsa books, Hp is a good example 7 hogwarts yrs, 7 horcruxes, etc... I dunno, I think it may mean something, cause i've seen a lot of 7 and cp is very logical and it seems he'd think of something like that.

yea, i read the link, it DOES seem like he just kinda abandoned the fourm, i mean he's obviously busy though. As for the topic, i think the 7 words are either (a.) someone or something's true name, or (b.) remember the discussion about the ancient language's name? i used to think thats what it was, but it doesnt seem logical now, because he would have made use of it allready.

someones true name is a ok possibility i suppose, but there's already a heck of a lot of therories like that.

yea, but brom is eragon's father was popular to, and look what happened. It could also be related to the vault of souls, because the werecat said to speak his true name to open it, could have a connection somewhere.....omg! vault of souls.....the dragons heart of hearts! look in the vault of souls when he needed power! that has to be it, i mean those are dragons souls galbatorix had sealed away...in a vault. i feel so smart right now : )

Same! And, on topic, I'm not sure... It couldn't have been Eragon's true name. That would be impossible. Maybe it was someone else's true name, but I doubt it. I'd guess that it's a very powerful spell of healing or destruction. More likely destruction, because if they had been able to heal, then Eragon or Brom could have used the spell to stop Brom from dying. I don't know.

Whats this about words? I think Eragon would have used something like a spell or true name.
