| I noticed a very interesting, if subtle, theme in the cycle about people inheriting positions from their parents. Eragon has inherited the position of the main threat to Galbatorix from Brom. Murtagh has inherited the position of Galbatorix's right hand man from Morzan. Nasuada has inherited the position of leader of the Varden from Ajihad. If the series follows this pattern, Orik will replace Hrothgar as the Dwarven King. Even though he's not his real father, he's his heir, so it should still count. Also, Arya might inherit the position of Elven Queen from Islanzadi if she dies. What do you think about all this? | |

| Here we go again with Brom and Eragon. lol Anyway On topic yes i see what you mean *ignores the brom and eragon line* there is a obivious role hand down in this book but does that mean that Oromis is going to hand down the inheritance of last good rider to Eragon or that Izlanzadi is going to hand down the leader of the elves to Ayra? | |

| Well, Oromis isn't Eragon's father (*cough*Bromis*cough*), so why would Eragon inherit something from him? | |

| This is why it's called the INHERITANCE series. Do you think CP just picked a random cycle name out of a hat? I highly doubt it... | |

| CP is a literary genius whose wonderful works deserve to be kept in the most hallowed of halls! He especailly has a knack with names. But it bugs me at times he isn't completely original with his names... | |
