What poem did you look at, Zeb? The newest one was 'A Waiting Bride'. Did you look at one, some, or all of them?

Here is a new one, I wrote last night:

The Heart's Lust

Your eyes are like a storming sea,
How I'd wish they'd gaze upon me

Your lips are like rose petals
Lovely and pink
But forever in bloom

Your hair is like white gold
Melted down and strewn into wires
By the great Hephaestus himself

Your skin is like a cluster of clouds
Soft and white
How I long to touch it

Your mind is so bountiful
Like the autumn harvest
Filled with all varieties
Of the fruits of knowledge

Your heart is like a glass ornament
Beautiful and delicate;
I would cherish it forever

Um hold on, I'll message you.
Here are 2 new poems, one is nameless and the other is called The Cross. I wrote both of them today, and inspired by the same person.

The Cross
Why must I be the sacrifice
When it will never appease you…

Why must my heart die in vain
When forever I will suffer
From this endless pain?

How can he be so blind
Sitting next to me
Doesn’t see the wall of haze
Clouding my eyes

How can he not see
My blood being spilled
All across my body?
He was the killer
He punctured the vein
His lips lies
Of his ignorance he feigns

I am the sufferer
I hold what others cannot
Hold for themselves
I have taken the cross for them
But the biggest burden of all
Was of love’s loss

Stained Scarlet

It happened again.
I wake up to
A pillow wet
Stained scarlet
And tasting of saltwater

Why must I go through this
Every night?
Why must I say goodbye
To my dreams?

Even they are not so sweet
The fearful phantasms
Nocturnally infesting
Are so much kinder
Than the bitter iron
That frames me

Every night I am
Stained scarlet there
But the moment I wake up
Those wounds heal

I just want to hide
Close my eyes
Dive into the lithium

I have no need to breathe
My heart was lost long ago
My senses numb

How could I pay attention
To the air
When all I see
Is this gaping hole in my chest?

Scars surrounding
My chest stained scarlet
The one stain no one can cleanse

Let me give into
Eternal peace stained scarlet.
