Did Everyone Like the Cast for Eragon?

I personally like most of the cast for Eragon the movie what did you all think?

Ed Speleers - Eragon
Jeremy Irons - Brom
Sienna Guillory – Arya
Robert Carlyle - Durza
John Malkovich – Galbatorix
Garrett Hedlund – Murtagh

Is some of the casts from the movie.

The casting wasn't too bad... but it could have been better.

I thought the best one's were Jeremy Irons and Sienna because they got it pretty much right. Arya is meant to be like beautiful and Sienna isnt exactly ugly is she . Jeremy Irons is good as Brom he was sort of what i imagened.

WHAT?! I thought that Arya looked nothing like the Arya in the book!!!! She had red hair instead of black, round ears, and she didn't have green eyes!!!!!

Yes appart from the hair. I mean come on Sienna is rather nice looking and Arya is meant to be.

C'mon, how hard is it really for them to stick latex ears on her? They really messed her apearence up. And I'm not even gonna start on Durza...

Nelly! Though I wish they had stuck some ears on her, seriosuly it's only 1 elf?! I think she should have died her hair black, and stuck on some ears, and then I'd absolutely love her! She's still a great actess, and did a good job. I liked all of the cast especially Eraogn Edward makes Aravelle happy...

Am I the only one not swooning over the cast?

Well, to look on the bright side of things, I guess she did sort of look 'pixie-ish' which might have been the director's vision (you know, pixies=fairies=elves). Jeremy was great because Jeremy is always great...although I was hoping that they'd pick Sir Ian Mckellen. But that would have made it way too LOTR-ish.

i dont know. i thought that the acting over all was very second rate and that the sets were cheap attempts at a lord of the rings coppy. aslo what the heck is with sappeira's voice? she isnt supposed to be like forty years older than eragon. uhhhhhg it sucked. alot.

the actors were ok but the acting was not at all it sucked and saphiras voice was the worst of all she is def not supposed to be so old sounding it blew

ya, Nelly. I liked Saph voice, actually. She didn't sound too old(in my opinion), and to be honest, that's how I always imagined her sounding. It was differen,t it didn't seem human, but wise and witty!

ur right her voice had acertain heir of authority and prowess but it seemed as if she talked like she was soo much older and better then everybody else....or maybe im just crazy

Well, she does have a bit of an attitude, but that's just the way Saph is! It's like telling Eragon not to be foolish, or for Zeb to stop idolizing Nasuada, or for Elliot to stop flirting...it's just impossible!
