i thought that the change was CP perfect way of getting eragon out of the dilemma of his scarred back and giving eragon a sense of control and power that make him seem even kooler and more addictive to read about

ya. I think it was not only a physical transition, but also a symbolic form of his mental prowess. He's so much more mature now, and he wouldn't be quite as mature if it weren't for the dragons. (Or at least Saph coming into his life)

agreed his change def made me feel that eragon is now more mature and more capable to set out and accomplish most goal/challenge set down before him

Yes, I agree. I also think that Eragon is not to powerful because of it. Believe me, I've read books where the main character(s) is/are to powerful and Eragon is not.

agreed i feel that if eragon was too powerful it would ruin the books because thats wat makes the books so good that eragon and saphira are flawed characters

I agree. It's type of thing as the fact that a story isn't a story without a problem. If the characters in a story are perfect we can't really sympathize at all (at least in most cases).

it is kool to see characters with ultimate power and little problems but ..... i dont think that kind of thing is what CP was goin for ......and it would most likley ruin eragon if CP was

Every character needs flaws, because it makes it more realistic because were all not exactly perfect all of us have flaws, Sam says mine is that i am too flirty! i mean meh! lol

i agree that flaws make a character seem more real and that any character who was perfect would be a bore to read about if there is a character who seems to be perfect they are fun to follow b/c you know something bad is goin to happen to them soon

Nelly, must the whole world know of your flaws? Yes I said flawS. I love the fact that Eragon's flawed! Like what the whole world just said(lol, ok maybe Tempest and Domia) it wouldn't be as interesting. Every great hero must have flaws and weaknesses, otherwise he would be a god!
