Well, I don't believe in Urgals, and they didn't ruin the story for me. I personally do beleive in God, but even if you don't, you could just think of it like an elf or some other imaginary creature.
Of course you can have an oppinion, this is a free country... well, America is anyway. I don't know much about British polotics and religion and such.
