Like i said shes just limiting herself. I mean think about it if you would have to take tons of peoples pain away wouldn't you want a break.

yeah i suppose so, but the experience of harboring others pain might have made her want to give it back so she might end up to be cruel and vindictive.

i think that eragon gave her way too much power accidentally

Hm... I liked her much more before her "change" thing in Brisingr. I am of course happy that she doesn't have to deal with the pain so much, but still her character changed too much.

Hm, I don't like her as much either. She was awesome in Eldest. Who knows, maybe she'll appear to have left, but then charge into battle at the end of book four.
