Poor poor movie. It had such potential, but I refuse to be negative about it. *focuses on the positive side* The guy who played him wasn't half bad... I though all the actors were relatively decent, even though they didn'ty look the part. Di you know they considerd Ian McKellen for brom, and Shia Laboef for eagon? Then the movie would be crappy!

See, there are ways to stay positive! Another person was Elijah Wood. HE WAS FRODO! Do you know how LOTR cliqueish that would have been! I liked Jeremy Irons better as Brom. Also, I liked Eragon, even though he was blond.

I agree. A lot of people were upset over Ed Speelers...but I actually thought that he was the best part of the movie. Although some things he did were cheesy and/or stupid (i.e. the scene where Nasuada walks in) his acting was good, and his sincerity refreshing. And Elijah Wood?!?! Wow. If Elijah was Eragon, and Sir Ian Brom I would just laugh my head off.

Ya, there were some dumb parts, but the part with Nasuada WAS NOT!!!!! I liked that part. Personally, I think they put it in for all the girl eragon fans. seriously, he is a decent actor, even without the part.

it seems that they took every important detail from the book and purposfully left it out of the movie wich sucked and they left out so much that there is no possible way thay could make a second one that makes any sense

They either have to remake, or they have to cram in losts of lost info in Eldest!

they wont cram or remake so i think they should just leave it and forget they even called themselves directors/producers at one time

Have some faith! There is always room for improvement. They could add Solly, the Twins, Katrina, Elva, Orik, and other stuff from Eragon into Eldest. They'd have to tweak it a little, but it would make amends for their wrongdoing of their 1st Inheritnace potrayl.(...or should I say, betrayl?)
