Yes why! It's true you have to look over the evidence carefully and in CP's interview he said that anyone could say something in the ancient language as long as they thought it was true even if it wasn't. Murtagh obviously thought Morzan was Eragon's father therefore he could say it in the ancient language. Also if the weapon under the menoa tree is Brom's sword Brom is obviously Eragon's father because the series isn't called the INHERITANCE Cycle for nothing! Brom's sword would be Eragon's INHERITANCE! Don't you see? Brom HAS to be Eragon's father making Murtagh is half brother.
