Is Eragon going to get with Ayra???

I personally hope they will get together because Eragon needs some love

I think Arya will die in Brisingr, because It would be a dramatic end to the book.

Nope, he'll end up with Nasuada, or maaaaybe Katrina if Roran dies. Arya is so much older, she's and elf (what would their kids look like?), and she doesn't have any feelings for him.

He surely wont get with Nasuada i mean come on surely not.

C'mon, he swore Fealty to her! He is like her servant... he's never going to get with her. I think he might get with either Arya or a totally new character.

Well, she could release him from the fealty when they got married. But really, what would Arya's and Eragon's kids look like? I mean, it's impossible. Eragon is still a human (despite what happened in the Blood-Oath Ceremony), and she's an elf. It just couldn't work. And then there's the age difference... though Nasuada is barely older than him, so that would work. How could Eragon and Arya get around that?

Nasuada is JUST human she isnt a rider soooo how will that work lol Eragon is going to live forever (unless killed) and Nasuada is going to age normally how is THAT going to work!! Arya and Eragon can get together in Eldest, Eragon reads up on the matter and there has been serveral instances when an elf and human have gotten together and most of the time it was Rider and elf, so why not.

Thank you, Neo, that's what I was thinking. I can call you that, right? Anyways, Eragon will have to marry the next rider, which is why it must be a female. When the dragon gets a bit older, he'll have to fall in love with Saphira, mate, then she'll have a much needed egg. When the dragons fall in love, their Riders will fall in love as well, because of the mental link. Since Arya isn't going to marry Eragon, it must be Nasuada, unless Roran dies, in which case it could be Katrina, that that is unlikely. (That was a really bad run on sentence....)

As to the instances that a human/elf couple was married: almost all of them ended in tragedy. Besides, If Arya wanted to marry Eragon, why would she always push him away and reject him when he was proclaiming his love for her?

Well i just think that Arya is a duty first sort of person because she choose to be abbasidor (sorry about that spelling) for the elves over her family so i would be supprised if she choose the greater good of Eragon and the elves and all of the good guys lives over her affection for Eragon.
Oromis also said that he put her in an strange position with his faith so maybe this what he meant that after the big battle is finished there will be time for love.

Sorry, but it just can't happen. It's ludicrus to think that these very different people who are of very different races and ages could ever relate.

I hope it doesn't happen, I want this book to end in deaths with minimal love! Seriously, I have been continuously disappointed by the happy endings of many series lately, or the sad love related endings. I NEED SOME TRAGIC VIOLENCE!

Has nobody thought about Angela's reading/fortune telling? "...but your live is of noble birth and heritage." Nasuada didn't come from noble heritage, as it says somewhere in "Eldest"(don't ask me where, I don't remember), and Katrina definately (spell check says I spelled that wrong and I can't remember how to spell it right 'cause I've been out of it all day...am I rambling? So, anyways...)didn't come from noble birth or heritage. But his prophecy-thingy also says he will leave Alagaesia forever, so I have no idea what's going to happen then.

I forgot to add that Arya is an elven PRINCESS who would definately(spelled it wrong again, still can't remember how to spell it right) came from noble birth and heritage.

I also realized that in my first reply I spelled "love" like "live". smilies...are...AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I've posted about this in the "Eragon's love interest" thread. Nasuada could count as noble because she's the leader of the Varden, and I think that she's on Orrin's court. And we don't know much about Ajihad's past. I think that there may be more to him that meets the eye, possibly royal blood. As for Katrina: she lives in Carvahall. It was stated that King Palancar's decendants lived there. What if she was related to him? I don't think that we can rule out any of those three just based on the "Royal blood" thing.
