What is Eragon's True Name?

I have to agree that parents don't give them their ture name. What about this, the gods give them their name before they are born. And in the 3rd book when eragon meets the god the god tells him his ture name or he gives him a really really good clue. What do you think of that?

if anybody has read the lost years of merlin series a god comes and meets merlin at the end of it to give him his true name
so i believe that the same type of thing will happen to eragon in the upcoming book or else the god will give him some new power or a secret to increase his chance in defeating galbatorix

It's possible Domia, but I think the god will warn of of the new enemy or it will tell him the long lost location of a dragon egg! And what other stuff do you like, esac? Maybe you could do the cover of Eragon for your avatar! Then we would have the whole trilogy as avatars! Collect them all!

on topic I think Brisinger is Eragons true name. I think that becasue Brisinger is the first magic word he used. It was also the first magic word he used. He used itnto kill his first urgals. He used it to help him kill Durza and the name of the third book is Brisinger.

Anyways, yes, my thoughts exactly. Or maaaaaaaybe the name of the AL, but I think that this is much more likley.

That is rather funny, but you got several things wrong. Eragon5217 and I are NOT enemies. I mean, just because we disagree on lots of things and I'm constantly moderating him and he's always getting off topic and saying random things doesn't mean that were enemies! The same goes for Elliot... I mean, just because he hates all of my theories and is constantly swearing and getting off topoic and flirting with you (Sam) and making me moderate him and other such evil and annoying things doesn't mean that we're enemies!
