I've listed seveal reasons why E/A can't happen, such as age and species, but I don't think you've really said why E/N won't work. Why don't you think that could happen?

1) the reaction in Eldest when Nasuada see's he she hugs he i mean come on if it was in a loving way she would have most probaly gone for a kiss i mean come on its obvious. Well it is for me? come on Sam back me up!

2) He doesnt have feeling for her never has he said "Oh she is beautiful" or "i like her" or i dont know because he has never thought it even!

3) They just DONT suit i mean come on there like almost brother and sisterly!

4) okey i stop ranting now!

I agree with Zeb, but Paolini isn't that cruel! They are MEANT for each other, just look at the signs!! The prophecy, the dream, and the fact that Arya I love you

Eragon looks better than Eragon I love you

Sorry to compare Eragon to HP again, but look at the underlined stuff above and read the stuff below. (Stop reading this if you don't want to be spoiled about who Harry marries.)

1. Harry knew Ginny for a looooong time before he realized that he loved her. This'll happen to Eragon too.
2. Ginny was Harry's best mate's sister, and almost like Harry's sister too. You say that Eragon and Nasuada are like siblings.
3. Harry loved a very beautiful, smart, and powerfull witch, Cho, for quite a while, before breaking up with her. Eragon is STILL chasing after a very beutifull and powerfull Arya.
4. Cho was still getting over a past boyfriend's death, Cedric. Arya is still getting over the death of Faolin.
5. I know that this probobly wont happen the exact same way, but Arya's SUCH a Mary Sue, and Eragon just CANT marry her.

She's smart
She's very powerfull in magic
She's great with a sword
She's great with a bow
She can write great poetry
She has no apparent weakness
She's an elf
She is just oh so beautiful
AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF SHE'S A PRINCESS!

YOU CRUEL PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! ARYA OWNS EVERYONE HERE! SHE WILL NOT DIE!! When the whole war is over and eragon killed gably nothing will be between them and their dragons will mate and the new riders will come and then arya and eragon will marry and live happily ever after. (reality of my theroy ends with the "eragon will marry and live happliy ever after") until galby comes back to life with durza and then they fight them to together and galby goes onto the good side and durza dies and never returns and a purple dragon with pink and yellow polka-dots with be born and everyone lives happily ever after! lol!
