Shes not a big poetry writer.

Okay. I'm kinda into poetry. A couple of months ago when I was doing poetry in school, I hated it with a passion. Now I like it. I just don't like writing about stuff I'm not interested in.

yep case knows me best i am def not a poetry writer or just any type of writer hehe i prove it because i failed my writing test in 7th grade oopsie

Here is the rest of the Poem that i started before.

Evil Awakes

Shadow, Fear, Wind, and Poison,
All the elements of evil.
Rain down on this tiny world,
And envelope its people.
Shadow, Fear, Wind, and Poison
All the elements of evil.

Shadow the dark the deep,
Cast a black, deep, past.
So strong this deep ebony he11,
Its can bind the soul.
Shadow, Fear, Wind, and Poison,
All the elements of evil.

Fear the shiver down our spine,
The terror that seals the soul.
So fearful this terrible fear,
It shows in the whites of eyes.
Shadow, Fear, Wind, and Poison,
All the elements of evil.

Wind oh the trickster,
That soothes the soul.
So powerful it can rip the earth apart,
Yet so soft it can brush thy lips.
Shadow, Fear, Wind, and Poison,
All the elements of evil.

Poison the sickening crutch,
That can kill.
So small,
Yet still harmful.
Shadow, Fear, Wind, and Poison,
All the elements of evil.

'tis like your siggy. not bad, though i don't really get it.

It's not bad, but it doesn't sound.... honest, if you know what I mean. One important thing about poetry is that it sounds true, honest, inspired. Your poem, Em, is not bad, but it sounds like you were trying to immatate a deep poem that you don't fully understand. It's a good start though.

This isn't quite exactly completly really actually Eragon-related, but I just scraped together this poem together in school a few days ago. Just thought I'd get yall's thoughts about it.

Why did it leave withought me
Again?
I see the yellow and red of the back of the bus
Sink over the horizon like a sunset
Again.
Would anyone in it
Notice I wasn't on it?
Most likely they didn't, or wouldn't, or couldn't,
Because if they did, or they, would, or they could,
I wouldn't be sitting here like an idiot
On this uncomfortable curb
Again.

Like I said, I haven't gone back and edited it yet...

Go on SFF and look up Aravelle Penwyche, I have tons of poems up there and plan on putting more!

sure, but that doesn't answer what zeb said.

and it was not copied and i did not try to immitate a different poem and i got my insirations from we have been reading some really dark poems like evil and so thats where i got my inspirations from

I'm not saying it's bad, it just sounds sorta poser-ish.

I don't know. Em, why post if no one likes it? you know you're going to mkae poeple hate it. what is the point? Only post if you know it's good, then no one will try to help you with your posts and such.
