You are getting older and in doing that, you become a little less cheery and lose some of that innocence. It's all a part of growing up. And I hate it.*

Yes but you aren't failing. Your parents aren't seperated, your father wasn't abusive, your friends aren't abondoning you to be 'popular' and get a boyfriend.

No, Tom, having a girlfreind does NOT solve many problems. I'm choosing not to date for a while (like probably till I'm 15-16ish), and I really think it's a smart choice. Dating just isn't really worth it. any middle school relationship isn't really going to be worth anything. I've seen guys and girls really upset over these kind of relationships. Many people (none that I know personally) have killed themselves because of a breakup or some other relationship issue. Sure, there are still some pretty good lookin girls that I know that I may have wanted to date, but come on, there's not much of a point, really. And (no offence sam), but look how upset Sam is. I know it's not totally because of dating/relationship issues, but that's a definite part of it. I say just don't bother with dating, and it won't bother you.

you don't have to have a gf. If it makes you feel any better I think you are pretty cool. I can't type much now b/c I'm typing on an itouch.

Sorry, I can't edit from an itouch. I am doing what Zeb is doing and not dating. A relationship will just put more stress on you. Jesus is enough for me.

Itouches suck when you are trying to type. I don't date and I never have. I will def put more of my insight on dating on here, but not while I'm working with this cruddy tiny keyboard.
